Spain has claimed the top spot in overseas travel satisfaction among Korean travelers for the first time, overtaking Switzerland, which had held the position for the past four years. Southern European countries performed strongly, while Central and Western European destinations such as Switzerland saw a decline. Meanwhile, Eastern European countries like the Czech Republic and Croatia are emerging as new favorites.
스페인이 처음으로 한국인의 해외여행 만족도 1위를 차지했다. 지난 4년간 선두를 지켜온 스위스를 제친 것이다. 남유럽 국가들이 강세를 보인 반면, 스위스를 비롯한 중·서유럽 국가는 순위가 하락했다. 반면 체코, 크로아티아 등 동유럽 국가는 ‘신흥 인기 여행지’로 떠오르고 있다.
According to the travel research institute ConsumerInsight, based on a survey conducted from September 2024 to August 2025, Spain scored 808 points in overall satisfaction, the only country to surpass the 800-point mark. Portugal ranked second at 793, followed by the Czech Republic (791), Switzerland (789) and Croatia (781).
여행 리서치 기관 컨슈머인사이트가 2024년 9월부터 2025년 8월까지 실시한 조사에 따르면, 스페인은 해외여행 만족도에서 808점을 받아 유일하게 800점을 넘겼다. 포르투갈이 793점으로 2위에 올랐고, 3위는 체코(791점), 4위는 스위스(789점), 5위는 크로아티아(781점)가 차지했다.
Other destinations in the top 10 included Hawaii, Italy, New Zealand, Australia and Austria. Japan dropped one place from the previous year to No. 11 but remained the highest-ranked Asian country, followed by the United Kingdom, Hungary, Singapore, Vietnam, Guam, Canada and Turkey. Overall, 18 countries scored above the global average of 725 points.
이 밖에 하와이, 이탈리아, 뉴질랜드, 호주, 오스트리아 등이 상위 10위권에 포함됐다. 일본은 전년보다 한 계단 떨어진 11위였지만, 아시아 국가 가운데서는 가장 높은 순위를 유지했다. 뒤이어 영국, 헝가리, 싱가포르, 베트남, 괌, 캐나다, 튀르키예가 뒤를 이었다. 전체적으로는 18개국이 글로벌 평균 점수인 725점 이상을 기록했다.
